Some Summer Recipes

Now that summer is here it's a perfect time to use your hot sauce to spice up your cookouts. Here are a couple recipes that will add a bit of kick to any event.

Lo-Heat-O Grilled Chicken Breasts

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts

  • ⅛ cup olive oil

  • ⅓ cup Hot Sauce 4 Good Lo-Heat-O hot sauce

Preparation:

Put chicken in a large plastic sealable food storage bag or covered container. Combine the oil, Hot Sauce 4 Good Lo-Heat-O hot sauce. Marinate for 2 hours.

Preheat grill.

Grill for 12 - 15 minutes, or until chicken registers 165° on an instant read thermometer stuck into the thickest part of the meat.

Alternate: Substitute SubLime Cilantro or Hot Garlic hot sauce for a spicier meal.

Serves 4.


Spicy SubLime Cilantro Salsa

Yield: About 1.5 cups

Ingredients

  • 5 Roma or Plum tomatoes

  • 6 green onions

  • ¼ cup Hot Sauce 4 Good SubLime Cilantro hot sauce

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt

Mix the tomatoes and onions in a blender or food processor using the pulse setting until it is at the  desired consistency. Transfer to a bowl, and mix in the Hot Sauce 4 Good SubLime Cilantro hot sauce, black pepper and salt. 

Alternate: Replace the plum tomatoes with tomatillos and add some diced red bell pepper for a tasty alternative.
